Software Upgrades, also known as ECU or TCU Tuning, provide the best horsepower-per-dollar gain of any performance modification available. ISW is the only shop in New Jersey to offer both Unitronic and APR software upgrades, which are available for Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, and Lamborghini. The great advantage of ECU Tuning is that it doesn't necessarily require hardware upgrades. "Stage I" files increase horsepower and torque drastically and require no additional hardware upgrades. Most ECU and TCU software is uploaded directly through the OBD II port and the process is completed within an hour.

In addition to being Authorized Unitronic and APR dealers, Island Sport Works offers ECU Tuning from Eurodyne, Dinan, Eurocharged, Burger Tuning, Bootmod3 and more.
