MQB Ignition Stud Conversion Kit for VW/Audi

Is your 1.8/2.0TSI MQB VW/Audi tuned with Performance Software, such as APRUnitronic, or Eurocharged? If so, you’ll be changing your spark plugs quite often (which we recommend upgrading.)

As a matter of fact, APR recommends changing your spark plugs every 10,000 to 15,000 miles to avoid misfires or rough-running issues when running even Stage 1 Performance Software.

From APR’s Website, www.goapr.com.

In order to remove and replace spark plugs, you have to remove your vehicle’s Ignition Coils (which we also recommend upgrading.) The problem is that with the factory bolt set-up, you’re constantly running the risk of over-tightening the bolts, cross-threading them or otherwise damaging the threads inside the cylinder head.

As you can see in the video (00:55 Seconds), the threads were already damaged on this 2016 Volkswagen GTI (running Stage 2 APR Software.)

The IS Works MQB Ignition Stud Conversion Kit solves this issue. With a simple one-time installation, you will only need to remove and two bolts (one for the ground wire, and one that holds down the ignition coil.)

For $13.99 and less than a half hour of your time, you can avoid a potentially very costly repair and enjoy changing your spark plugs and ignition coils with ease.

The IS Works MQB Ignition Stud Conversion Kit is available here on our online store. As always, shipping is fast & free.
